KGNU's Youth Podcasting and Radio Workshop for Teens!

Calling all teens who would like to participate in KGNUs 5-day Youth Podcasting & Radio Summer Workshop!
KGNU is currently offering two half-day camp sessions from 12 pm to 4 pm:
Session One: June 20 to 24
Session Two: July 11 to 15.
These classes will cover podcast scripting, basic in-studio recording and production skills, basic music DJing, and more...
No previous audio editing or recording skills are required. Just show up with an eagerness to learn.
Through scripting, recording, and producing podcasts, the campers will use their voice to address pertinent social, cultural, and media-related issues while acquiring essential audio production skills with the guidance of professionals from an established media platform. We will also engage with other aspects of Community Radio by meeting with and observing the work of local KGNU DJs and hearing from local news reporters about their work.
Students who successfully complete the course will be qualified to use the studios as volunteer producers for KGNU.
The week-long summer camp and workshop fee is $150.
