Weekly Report from Boulder
The construction crew just arrived to start installing solar panels here at the station! This will be so great, at the same time we'll get some solar power and reduce summer sun and heat coming in our south windows. KGNU already has wind power in the mix (Now cheaper in Colorado than standard electric!) and it will be nice to reduce our dependence on the grid that much more.

Last night I took in my first hockey game of the year, courtesy of my brother. The Avalanche looked solid, taking a four-goal lead in the first, giving up a couple goals, and coming back strong in the third period. The spectators were fairly involved, consistently booing Bertuzzi when he stepped on the ice and touched the puck. I still don't see how he can be allowed to play so soon while Moore is still unable to play, but so it goes. The new rules did help keep the game moving along with fewer interruptions.

I hope all had a good Thanksgiving! As we had a four-day weekend I felt like treating myself on Thursday by hardly listening to the radio and listening only to old music. It really did make it more of a holiday. We stayed warm for most of the weekend so I got out for a windy bike ride on Saturday. The snow is staying up in the mountains thus far, where it is most appreciated.
