After traveling and playing her way through New York's Greenwich Village and Lower East Side, singer/songwriter Brielle is laying down new roots in Boulder, Colorado. While living in Manhattan, Brielle performed every Sunday night at Jack in the Village and regularly as part of the Singer/Songwriter Sessions at CBGBs. Brielle's music, a sensual and sumptuous blend of ballad and song, sings to the rites of relationships and adulthood; social commentary and satire.
Swinging in the spirit of Hoagy Carmichael and the greats of the 30s and 40s, the Hoagies are gearing up for their January 25 appearance at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret in Denver. The new CD "Shadow Ball" spotlights Scott Johnson on guitar, Mike Billings on mandolin, bassist Dave Ball, drummer Wade Krauss, and the Jazz Doctor Bill Pontarelli on clarinet.
