Colonel Ann Wright will speak to benefit KGNU & RMPJC  
Ann Wright served 29 years in the US Army and US Army Reserves, retiring as a colonel. She was a US diplomat for 16 years and served in Nicaragua, Somalia, Afghanistan and more. She was one of only 3 US Department of State officials to resign in opposition to the war in Iraq. Since then, Wright has become a prominent figure in the movement opposed to the occupation of Iraq, giving lectures on her political views and her experiences.

Legendary Bluegrass Guitarist Charles Sawtelle from the band Hot Rize left behind a legacy as well as a Cadillac Sedan Deville 1979. The car was generously donated to KGNU to use as a fundraising vehicle. The car has 123,000 + miles, many of which were put on by Charles as he traveled the country playing music.
