Emergency Status: Flash Flood Warnings issued for Fourmile burn area
 
The NWS issued this statement: "Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the Fourmile burn area and said locations that "will experience flooding" include Summerville, Salina, Crisman, Gold Hill, Sunshine and Wallstreet.

"This is a life-threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks, streams and ditches in the Fourmile burn area"

5/23/2014 8 p.m., Boulder OEM: Wagon Wheel Gap community told to be prepared to evacuate, if needed

8:30 p.m., Boulder OEM: The heavy rain has largely moved off the burn area. There is still some storm activity building to the southwest of the burn area, but it doesnt look to be as intense.

9:05 p.m.The Daily Camera reports that the flash flood warning is being lifted early, per dispatchers.
