Live Radio on a Bike!
Just in time for Bike Week, pedal-powered radio comes to Boulder on Friday, June 29th, from Noon to 3:00 PM during KGNU's Friday Afternoon Sound Alternative.
Program hosts 99 & Barry will be doing the program live from the seats of their bikes. Using an Apple iPad and two iPhones, the couple will transmit their unique blend of eclectic music direct from Boulders bike paths to KGNU listeners on 88.5 FM, 1390 AM and kgnu.org.
They'll be stopping at various places along the bike paths, interviewing local bike advocates.
The program takes place during Bike Week in Boulder and during KGNU's 2012 Summer Membership Drive. Listeners will be encouraged to call in and keep wheels of local community radio turning by supporting the station.
