KGNU is hiring a Denver underwriting sales manager
|
KGNU, an independent, community public radio station, seeks motivated individual to sell underwriting in Denver.
Individual will be responsible for selling on-air and website underwriting for KGNU in Denver and surrounding suburbs. Additional billing and scheduling responsibilities included.
Qualifications:
Advertising/market knowledge
Previous ad and/or media sales experience
Good communication and negotiation skills
Must have Internet, email, fax and telephone to conduct business
Must have reliable transportation with insurance, license, etc
Must have an understanding of KGNU mission, philosophy and value system
Preferred:
Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and other basic computer skills
Goal oriented
Outgoing
Comfortable working independently
Willing to travel
KGNU broadcasts on 1390 AM Denver, 88.5 FM Boulder, 93.7 Nederland and www.kgnu.org
This is a commission-only independent contract position
