Antonia Juhasz speaks to benefit KGNU

From one of our most rigorous and passionate advocates of oil industry reforma crusading book that offers both a new take on problems and a new set of solutions.

In Tyranny, Juhasz furthers the analytic, journalistic, and activist project she began in The Bush Agenda. Inspired by the populist movement against Standard Oil 100 years ago, she calls for a break-up of Big Oil and a Separation of Oil and State, challenging elected officials to renounce oil company money. A fellow with Oil Change International and the Institute for Policy Studies, Juhasz has written for the New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Alternet.org, and elsewhere. She has appeared on ABC News, Fox's Hannity & Colmes, CNBC's Kudlow & Company, Bloomberg Radio, NPR's Talk of the Nation, The Diane Rehm Show, Marketplace, and Air America. A former Congressional aide to two U.S. members of Congress, Juhasz holds a master degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and is a frequent university guest lecturer. She lives in San Francisco.
A $10-$20 donation is suggested.
