KGNU is seeking a Production & Training Specialist
|
Primary duties focused on assisting volunteer producers with live broadcast and pre-recorded production activities, including:
--On-going training for volunteers on all studio equipment and computer editing software
--Support for volunteers during their initial live broadcasts from Denver studio
--Engineer for guests being interviewed from Denver studio by hosts at Boulder studio
--Management of digital library, synching inventory, maintenance of computer systems relating to audio playback.
Secondary duties include:
--Interacting with visitors to Denver office and studio when other staff are unavailable,
forwarding inquiries to appropriate staff.
--Helping volunteers schedule production and broadcast time in Denver studio
--Recording and editing short interviews with community members on issues
and events.
--Assisting with remote broadcasts from various Denver area locations.
--Assisting with fundraising for KGNU.
20-plus hours per week position with many of these hours on Saturday and Sunday.
