3-Day Youth Radio Workshop
Monday ? Wednesday
June 12th ? June 14th
9 AM ? 3 PM (1 hour lunch break)
Classes will cover:
- In-Studio Radio Broadcast Skills
- Field Recorder Basics
- How to use Sound Editing Software
- How to Create a News Feature and/or Radio Drama
Course Graduates will be qualified to use KGNU Radio Studio Space and can become volunteer broadcasters and journalists in the KGNU News Department as well as in KGNU?s youth radio program, Overdub. This workshop is open to teens aged 12-19. The workshop fee is $110; scholarships are available.
