? Boulder Acoustic Society (www.boulderacousticsociety.net) plays a progressive mix of jazz and string band music on a unique combination of instruments. Their dynamic stage presence, virtuosic technique and diverse song writing has fascinated audiences all over America. They were named winners of the 2004 Emerging Artist Series and were showcasing artists at the 2005 South By South West Music Festival.
? Halden Wofford and the Hi-Beams (www.hibeams.com) are passionately committed to playing real country music. The Hi-Beams appear regularly at festivals, theaters, clubs and casinos along the Front Range of Colorado. The Hi-Beams' high-energy shows feature top-notch instrumental work and the vocals of Halden Wofford, one of the most talented vocalists in the region. Material ranges from the band's distinctive and popular original material to a carefully chosen repertoire of classic honky tonk and western swing songs from the likes of Bob Wills, Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, George Jones and many others is Denver's premier dance band with nine professional musicians creating a very powerful funky sound. This band has it all, from funk to soul, jazz to rock, jump swing to ballads, and modern to classic. Every song is danceable and promotes a good time!
? The Skylark Lounge (www.skylarklounge.com) is located on 140 South Broadway, away from the crowded Lodo area, and is famous for its retro style, live music and Denver's best jukebox.
