Thursdays mark the traditional jam at The White Fence Farm, 6263 Jewel Ave., Lakewood, from 7-9:30 p.m. The Bluegrass Music Preservation Society sponsors this jam on 1st and 3rd Thursdays; and the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society sponsors on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th (if there is one) Thursdays of the month.

Old Town Music

CFOOTMAD

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, at 1000 W. 15th St (that's 4 blocks west of Main street on 15th) in Longmont holds a bluegrass worship service every second Sunday of each month. There are two services, at 8:15 am and 10:30 am, and everyone is welcome. If you're a musician who'd like to join please contact Nadia at 720-494-9707.

The deadline for Kgnu’s Concert and Community Calendars, which run during the week, is two weeks in advance. These deadlines apply to the web pages as well as the radio announcements. Please note that due to Kgnu’s non-profit status we can't post, or announce, prices for non-KGNU performances.  Sorry. The Hotline is a community service provided by KGNU, any one playing, or promoting, bluegrass may submit their gigs, jams, and festivals regardless of membership status. (But wouldn't you want to be a member?)

Good Morning Friends and Neighbors; I regret having to announce that Daniel "Buck" Buckner passed away this past Thursday 10/2/2003, around 1:30 p.m., at his home in Boulder Heights; he was 62. He had been battling advanced prostate cancer for more than a year before he expired. He survived by a close family, and group of friends, who will miss him deeply. More...
